What is Project ECHO?
We use the Project ECHO model (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) to build mentoring-based learning networks that connect subject matter experts to practicing providers, clinicians, and social health care professionals across Virginia.
Project ECHO at VCU Health

- Virginia Opioid Addiction ECHO to help tackle the opioid crisis.
- VCU Health Palliative Care ECHO to improve the quality of life of patients and their families facing life limiting illness.
- Virginia Sickle Cell ECHO to help improve disease management.

LSM/Program Administrator EI AUTISM ECHO to help address system level issues and solutions related to serving and supporting children 0-3 with a diagnosis of autism and their families.

Diabetes and Hypertension Project ECHO to address practice level issues and solutions related to managing complex patients with difficult to control diabetes and hypertension.

VCU Nursing Home ECHO to collaboratively advance improvements in COVID-19 preparedness, safety, and infection control.
